a Deeper Appreciation
and Inner Freedom.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where you are and what you’re doing, and not being overly reactive to or feeling overwhelmed by what’s going on around or inside you. It’s about learning to pay attention, in the present moment.

No matter how far you drift away, mindfulness is always right there, ready to snap you back to wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, thinking and feeling.

If you want to know what mindfulness is, it’s best to try it for a while. Even though it’s always there, innate to who we are, it can be cultivated through proven techniques

It’s like building a muscle – your attention can be trained and strengthened to be where you want it to be and to stay where you want it to stay, allowing you to become more conscious of our thoughts and feelings.

This reduces your tendency to work on autopilot, allowing you to experience more freedom in how you respond.

Mindfulness meditation can help you to suspend your judgment as well as being curious about how your mind works, approaching your experience with warmth and kindness, towards yourselves and others.

Mindfulness Training

The Mindfulness training helped me to recognize old thought patterns and to weaken their impeding influence, allowing me to come closer to myself. I can only recommend working in a group. You can better put things in perspective, you feel supported, and it is so human ...

    - Kristel

The Mindfulness training has taught me to react differently, more calmly and with a greater sense of how everything is relative.

    - Frans

In this Mindfulness training I have learned a lot more than just how to meditate. The stories you told me will be stored in my imaginary backpack for the rest of my life and stay always within my reach.

    - Elsy

For me Mindfulness means “to visit and spend time with myself and, eventually, to live there."

    - Ann

Mindfulness has given me a better framework with which to view my life at this time. I live more consciously and closer to my core. This gives me more inner peace and allows me to release more of the power within me. It is a process, and that’s okay. Thank you Marie Ann for going ahead and sharing this gift.
